Donald E. Keefer Jr. 55, of Urbana died at 11:05 p.m. Wed. Feb. 7, 2007 at home

Funeral services will be held at 10:00 a.m. Thursday, Feb. 15, 2007 at Renner-Wikoff Chapel and Crematory, U. Burial will be at Mt. Olive Cemetery, Mayview, visitation will be held from 6:00 p.m. - 8:00 p.m. Mon. Feb. 12, 2007 at the funeral home.

Mr. Keefer was born on May 21, 1951 in Kansas City, Mo, the son of Donald E. and Lois A. Spencer Keefer Jr.

Survivors include his mother of St. Louis, MO, his beloved companion Michelle Mauney of Urbana, one son; Michael Keefer of Rantoul, two sisters; Patricia Kircher and Jane Keefer both of St. Louis, MO, six grandchildren; Cody and Caleb Keefer both of St. Joseph, Aleshia Wilson, Kiara Wilson, Alexius Hearnes and Amayra Hearnes of Urbana.

Mr. Keefer worked for Kraft Food Company in Champaign. He was a U.S. Air Force Veteran and enjoyed bowling and was an avid NASCAR fan.
