Donald Leon Grice Sr. 60 of Loda died at 7:29 a.m. Tuesday, November 16, 2010 at home.

Funeral services will he held at 10:00 a.m. Saturday, November 20, 2010 at Renner-Wikoff Chapel and Crematory, Urbana; Pastor Rick Smith will officiate. Burial will be in Grandview Memorial Gardens Champaign with military rites accorded. Visitation will be held from 6:00 p.m. - 8:00 p.m. Friday at the funeral home.

Mr. Grice was born on June 13, 1950 in Urbana, the son of Asbury and Anne Brown Grice. He married Nancy Warren on November 21, 1967 in Hillsboro, she survives.

Also surviving are two sons; Donald Leon Grice Jr. of Paxton and Timothy Leon Grice of Loda, three daughters; Yvonne Karol Stevens of Loda, Lisa Karol Harris of Paxton and Rachel Lynn Grice of Rantoul, two brothers; Charles Oliver Grice of Paxton and Matthew Bullard of Rantoul, one sister; Barbara Jean Pinnell of Ludlow and eight grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by fourteen brothers and sisters.

Mr. Grice was a registrar for Lincoln's Challenge Academy in Rantoul.

He was a U.S. Army veteran of the Vietnam Conflict where he attained the rank of E7 Sgt. FC.

Mr. Grice was a member of Judson Chapel Baptist Church in Champaign.

He loved woodworking and cars.
