Dixie L. Trinkle, 76 of Champaign, passed away Friday July 28, 2023, at OSF Hospital, Urbana.  She was born April 30, 1947, at Effingham, the daughter of Delbert Leon and Effa C. (Eldridge) Edwards.  Dixie is survived by her mother, Effa Edwards and two sons, David and Mark Trinkle.

Dixie graduated from the University of Illinois with a bachelors of arts degree.  She retired from the U of I as a Library Clerk.

Funeral services will be 11:00 a.m. Friday August 4 at Renner-Wikoff Chapel & Crematory.  Pastor Steve Swann will officiate.  Burial will be at Grandview Memorial Gardens, Champaign.

Memorial contributions may be made to the American Parkinson Disease Association or the American Heart Association.
