Diane Louise Davis, 48 of Mahomet died at 8:25 p.m. Monday, July 9, 2007 in Mahomet.

Funeral services will be held at 10:00 a.m. Friday, July 13, 2007at the Sangamon Valley Christian Center, Mahomet. Pastors Joyce Gibson and Brent Roberson will officiate. Private burial will be in Grandview Memorial Gardens, Champaign. Visitation will be held from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. Thursday, July 12, 2007 at Renner-Wikoff Chapel and Crematory, Urbana and also one hour prior to the services at the church.

Mrs. Davis was born on January 14, 1959 in Champaign, the daughter of James Gaylord and Helen Louise Seip Wirth. She married W. Scott Davis on January 2, 1981 in Mahomet, he survives.

Also surviving are her parents: Gaylord Wirth of Jefferson City, Tennessee and Helen Wirth of Tuscola, one daughter: Amber (Dan) Barcroft of Mahomet, one son; Nicholas Davis of Mahomet, one sister; Carol (Jim) Wisniewski of Champaign and a brother; Dale Wirth of Charleston, South Carolina and two grandsons; Daniel and Michael.

Mrs. Davis graduated from Mahomet-Seymour H.S. and attended Parkland College.

She was a member of Fisher Four Square Church.

In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to the building fund at Fisher Four Square Church.
