Delores M. Peters Reynolds 74, of Urbana died at 4:48 a.m. Friday, April 4 at Provena Covenant Medical Center, Urbana,

Funeral services will be held at 1:00 p.m. Thursday, April 10 at Renner-Wikoff Chapel and Crematory, Urbana. The Rev. Peter Dyck will officiate. Visitation will be held from 5:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home.

Mrs. Reynolds was born on September 6, 1933 in Urbana, the daughter of Robert and Eunice Wingler McFall. She married Richard Reynolds on September 4, 1983 in Urbana, he survives.

Also surviving are a son: John (Doris) Peters of Thomasboro, four daughters: Kathie (Dale) Gaddy of Mahomet, Cindra (Larry) Carter of Loda, Harletta (Jim) Hamilton of Champaign and Kristina (Timothy) Malone of Macomb, a brother: Terry (Kathy) McFall of Champaign, four stepsons: Jeffery Reynolds of Mansfield, Roger Reynolds and Chris Reynolds both of Rantoul and Rodney Reynolds of Armstrong, eight grandchildren, eight great grandchildren and six step grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by a sister.

Mrs. Reynolds was a cook for the Champaign School District and also the Champaign County Sheriffs Department. She was a waitress at the Apple Dumpling Restaurant in Urbana.

She was a volunteer at Provena Cancer Center and received the Volunteer of the Year award.

During her time as a waitress, cook and volunteer, she touched many lives with her caring and compassion.
