Debra Slaughter, 63, of Urbana, died January 6, 2011 at Carle Foundation Hospital.

A memorial service will be held 2:00 p.m., Wednesday, January 12, 2011 at The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints 402 S. Lincoln Ave., Urbana.

Debra Slaughter was born November 25, 1947 in Chicago, IL a daughter of Theodore and Mamie Emerson Slaughter. Her mother survives.

Survivors include five siblings, Marion Slaughter of Odessa, FL, Linda Slaughter of Seattle, WA, Sidney Slaughter of Matteson, IL, Theodore Slaughter Jr. of Richmond, CA, and Diane Slaughter of Chicago, IL.

She was preceded in death by her father.

Debra Slaughter received a BS degree in Accounting form the U of I. She worked for the State of Illinois as an accountant and was a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints in Urbana.
