Deborah Jean Martin, 66, of Urbana, passed away at 12:05 p.m., Thursday, June 15, 2017 at Champaign County Nursing Home. Following Deborah's cremation at Renner-Wikoff Chapel & Crematory, the family will hold a celebration of life at a later date.

Deb was born November 24, 1950 in Danville, Illinois to parents Hubert Duckworth and Zada Campbell. They preceded her death. She is survived by three children: Janet Durham (Bill Sanderson), Josephine Thomas (Joseph), and Randall Trent, all of Champaign. Her brothers, Guy Duckworth (Jeanna) of Oklahoma, Jon Duckworth of Florida, her sister, Doris Bauer (David), of Champaign, stepsister Kay Stipp (Julian) of Sidney Illinois also survives. Deb is also survived by seven grandchildren: Jennifer Collins (Joshua), Corey Hebert, Tori Durham, Raymond, Charlie, Taylor, and James Trent. Two great grandchildren, Brayden Vincent Finley Durham and Zayne Landon Howard, and several beloved nieces and nephews also survive.

Ms. Martin worked for many years as a custodian at Country Fair Apartments, where many of her family members and friends also worked. She was a cheerleader to those she loved and always encouraged her family and offered her support. Deb was a ray of sunshine and had a jovial disposition. Her loss will leave a hole in the hearts of her family and friends.
