URBANA, IL- David Ray McClain, 56, of Urbana passed away at his home on Monday, January 3, 2011.

Memorial services will be held 11:00 A.M., Saturday, January 8, 2011 at the Reck Hall in Northwood Park.

Mr. McClain was born on September 9, 1954 in Mayview, a son of Jerome and Lillian Conley. Survivors include his wife, Barbara McClain; five children: Tammy McClain of Urbana, Kimberly (Wes) Book of St. Joseph, IL, Stacey (Jason) Crook of Urbana, IL, Jerome (Dollie) McClain of Urbana; 20 grandchildren, two brothers: Mike McClain of Urbana and Jerome (Karen) Conley of Urbana. A sister, Amber (Dennis) Burrows of Ludlow.

David was preceded in death by his parents, son, two brothers, a sister and a grandson.

David's hobbies were fishing, cooking, swimming and camping. He was a good mechanic for 40 years. His favorite hero was John Wayne and he loved tractors.
