David B. Folsom, 52, passed away at 6:15 a.m. on Saturday, February 22, 2025 at OSF St. Joseph Medical Center in Bloomington, IL.

He was born on January 6, 1973 in Urbana, IL the son of Wayne & Nancy (Davis) Folsom Jr. He married Sara Bateson on September 28th, 2006 in Clinton, IL.

David is survived by his wife, Sara, Mother, Nancy; Children -Nicholas Stiger(Sabrina), Hammond, IL Autumn Wise(Andrew) MT. Carmel, IL Kylie Lacroix(Anthony),  Maddison Lappin, Tyler Folsom, Cloe Shaffer(Frankie), Jadon Thrasher and Gabriel Folsom all of Clinton, IL; Grandchildren- Lily, Josiah, Kendall, Ashlee, Benjamin, Avree, Preston, Sebastion and 1 on the way; brothers- Wayne E. Folsom III of Champaign, Jonathan S. Folsom of Peoria and Nathan E. Folsom of Urbana.

He is preceded by his father and son- Mychael Folsom

David worked as an automotive mechanic. He enjoyed cooking, smoking meats, and motorcycles. He also enjoyed video games and in particular World War Craft. He loved spending time with his family and his dog Jade. Celebration of Life Service is March 8th from 5 to 9pm at the Clinton Legion Hall.
