David B. Faught, 59, passed away on April 10, 2023 at his home. He was born on June 18, 1963 in Mentor, Ohio the son of Earl & Marilyn (Arnold) Faught. David is survived by his sons Ryan Faught of St. Charles, Illinois and Alex Faught of Champaign, Illinois, along with their mother, Ana Faught of St. Charles, Illinois; brothers Mark Faught of Champaign and William Faught of Medford, Oregon; brother in law Elton Bohlen of Ogden, Illinois. He is preceded in death by his parents, sister Debra Lea Bohlen, and nephew Lucas Bohlen. David graduated from the University of Illinois with a bachelor's degree in finance and a master's degree in business from Loyola University. He owned DBF Financial, a financial planning business in West Chicago, Illinois. As a proud U of I alumnus, David enjoyed following the basketball and football teams. He was an avid NFL fan. He loved his sons very much, and enjoyed spending time with them. Graveside service will be held on Friday, April 14, 2023 at 11:00 a.m. at St. John's Lutheran Cemetery in Royal, Illinois.
