Danny Woods, 60, of Urbana, passed away at 11:58 P.M., Thursday, October 24, 2013 at Carle Foundation Hospital, Urbana.

A visitation will be held on Wednesday, October 30, 2013 from 6:00 P.M.- 8:00 P.M at Renner-Wikoff Chapel and Crematory, Urbana. Cremation to follow.

Danny was born on March 23, 1953 to parents Leslie Doyle Woods and LaVonne (Wright) Woods. LaVonne survives. He is also survived by the love of his life, Marilyn Decker, two sons, Chase (Kacie) Woods of Weldon and Aaron Woods (Nicole Duncan) of Weldon, step children Brian Decker, MaryBeth Runge and Mindy Decker, three grandchildren, Madison, Maycie and Makenna, three step grandchildren Scotty, Molly and Annie, one step great-grand daughter, Aubrey, one brother, Jim Woods of Urbana and a God son, Nelson Hendricks.

He attended Central High School and Mahomet High School. He worked as a mechanic all of his life, he also was an owner/operator of his own semi.

Danny was a hard worker yet enjoyed life, he was an outdoorsman who loved nature, camping and NASCAR. He cared deeply for his family and his friends. He will be greatly missed.
