Constance Lee (Connie) Osmond 74 of Urbana died at 3:40 p.m. Sunday, September 1, 2013 at home.

Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. Friday, September 6, 2013 at St. Patrick's Catholic Church, Urbana, Rev. Fr. Joseph Hogan will officiate. Burial will be in the Danville National Cemetery, Danville. Visitation will be held from 10:00 a.m. - 11:00 a.m. Friday at the church. Renner-Wikoff Chapel and Crematory is in charge of arrangements.

Mrs. Osmond was born on August 14, 1939 in Chicago, the daughter of Harold George and Jean Daniels Baer. She married Eugene J. Osmond Jr. on February 11, 1961 in Crystal Lake, IL; he died on July 30, 2011.

Survivors include her children; Cathy (Rich) Melander of Champaign, Mark Osmond of Urbana, Mike (Kristi) Osmond of Springfield, Teresa (Rick) Cowser of Champaign and Laura Osmond of Urbana, six brothers and sisters; Tom (Marlene) Baer of Bloomington, Susan Bedell of Las Cruces, New Mexico, Jim (Donna) Baer of Crystal Lake, Tim (Kerry) Baer of Indianapolis, Indiana, Elisabeth (Chuck) Baer-Doughty of Evansville, Indiana, Michael Baer of Mattoon, ten grandchildren; Brian (Nikki) Melander, Eric Melander, Kevin Melander, Matthew Melander, Jenni Osmond, Kati Osmond, Claire Cowser, Chris Cowser, Courtney Osmond and Nicholas Osmond.

Mrs. Osmond retired as a registered nurse.

She was a member of St. Patrick's Catholic Church, Urbana.
