Connie Jane Bank, 65, of Arthur (formerly of Urbana), passed away peacefully at 9:04 p.m., Tuesday, February 3, 2015 at Carle Foundation Hospital. A visitation will be held from 11:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m., Saturday, February 7, 2015 at Renner-Wikoff Chapel and Crematory, 1900 S. Philo Rd., Urbana. Funeral services will be held immediately following the visitation at 12:00 p.m. at the funeral home, with Pastor Rich Gregory officiating. Burial will be held at Mt. Hope Cemetery, Champaign.

Mrs. Bank was born October 16, 1949 in Champaign, Illinois to parents Lily May Cooley and Billy Dean Thomas. She married Prof. Steven Barry Bank June 16, 1971 in Urbana, Illinois. He preceded her in death April 10, 1994. Connie was also preceded in death by her parents.

Survivors include son, Prof. Seth Robert Bank (Michele Kim Connors), granddaughter, Claire Simone Bank, and siblings, Mary Ann Gleason, Janet Lynn Thomas Wiegel, La Donna Gay Thomas Funk, Jeffrey Dale Thomas, and Shelly Lea Thomas-Eichorn.

She was a loving wife to Steven and mother to Seth; she will be missed dearly.
