Colby M. Cohoon, 31, of Catlin and formerly from Mahomet passed away on June 8, 2025, at
Carle Foundation Hospital in Urbana.
Visitation will be Thursday, June 12, 2025, from 5-8:00 p.m. at Renner-Wikoff Chapel, 1900 Philo Road, Urbana, IL. Funeral Service will be at 11:00 a.m. on Friday, June 13, 2025, at the funeral home. Burial will be at Grandview Memorial Gardens, Champaign. Pastor Glenn Triplett will officiate.
Colby was born in Urbana, IL on December 12, 1993, the son of Michael Cohoon, Jr. & Candy Deaville. He is survived by his parents, fiancée- Haylee Carter, daughters- Vayda Cohoon and Amelia Antunez; siblings- Ashley Parsons of Tolono, Tyler (Jessie) Parsons of St Joseph, and Jarrett Cohoon of Mahomet; Grandparents- Mike and Teresa Cohoon, Connie Osborne, and Karen Deaville. Several nieces, one nephew, aunts, uncles and cousins. Colby worked as a laborer and was employed by Laborer's Local Union #703. He enjoyed motorcycles, fishing, working on his home, spending time with friends and family, and listening to music.  Memorial contributions may be made to the Vayda Cohoon Fund.
