Clayton "Clay" Brown, 63, of Urbana passed away at 11:50 A.M. on Tuesday, May 5, 2015 at his home.

Graveside services will be held at 10:00 A.M. on Monday, May 11, 2015 at Woodlawn Cemetery, 1803 N. Coler Ave., Urbana.

Clay was born in Urbana on September 24, 1951 to parents Eugene and Ilean (Spicer) Brown. They preceded him in death.

He is survived by his siblings, Rick (Joan) Brown of Savoy, Marla Brown of Paris, and younger brother Robert Brown. Clay is also survived by JoEllen Sisson, his longtime companion and his loving dog, Harley.

Clay was a graduate of Urbana high school and worked as a painter for 30 years for the Local 363. He enjoyed fishing, cooking, gardening, animals, antiques and refurbishing furniture.
