CHAMPAIGN, IL- Clara "Renee" Pelfrey, 55, of Champaign, IL, passed away at 12:56 P.M., Thursday, July 5, 2012 at C-U Regional Rehab Center, Savoy, IL.

Funeral Services will be held 10:00 A.M., Saturday, July 7, 2012 at the Renner-Wikoff Chapel, 1900 S. Philo Rd., Urbana, IL. Pastor Wes Wilkey will officiate. Burial will be held at Mt. Olive Cemetery, Mayview, IL. Visitation will be held one hour prior to the funeral at the funeral home.

Renee attended Champaign schools and battled illness her entire life. She was an active member of Faith United Methodist Church, Champaign, and she enjoyed singing, doll collecting, crafts, and poetry.

Suvivors include her mother, Clara Nelle Pelfrey of Urbana, IL, a brother and two sisters.

She was preceded in death by her grandparents and her father.
