Cheryl Jo Kincaid, 66, of Champaign passed away at 9:45 p.m., Tuesday, May 21, 2013 at Carle Foundation Hospital, Urbana. A visitation will be held from 10:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m., Tuesday, May 28, 2013 at Renner-Wikoff Chapel and Crematory, 1900 S. Philo Rd., Urbana. A funeral service will be held at noon at the funeral home, immediately following the visitation. Pastor Yvonne Black and Bishop Rayford Black will officiate. Burial will be held in Cartwright Cemetery in rural Tuscola.

Mrs. Kincaid was born July 31, 1946 in Urbana, Illinois to parents Charles and Patricia (Wrisk) Truax. She married Steven Kincaid June 19, 1965 in Urbana; he survives.

Also surviving are children, Lisa Miller, of Champaign, Jimmy Kincaid (Patty), of Champaign, brothers; Charles Truax (Mary), of Mahomet, Jim Truax (Nita), of Champaign, grandchildren, John Kincaid (Jennifer), of Champaign, Steven Jones, of Urbana, Amanda Kincaid, of Urbana, Shelby Miller (fiancAC. Travis Smith), of Urbana, and great-grandchildren, Kylan Kincaid, Bryanna Hood, and Lucas Smith. Cheryl was preceded in death by her parents, and brother, John Truax.

Mrs. Kincaid attended the Pekin Lighthouse Church of God. She was fond of being outside, doing yard work and riding on the back of her husband's motorcycle. She also enjoyed Facebook, where she kept herself up-to-date on her family and friends. Most of all, Cheryl loved spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
