Charlotte Bernice (Walling) Wilcoxon, 87 of Urbana died at 2:18 p.m. Monday, September 19, 2011 at home.

Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. Thursday, September 22 at Renner-Wikoff Chapel, 1900 S. Philo Rd., Urbana, with visitation one hour prior to service time. Paster Jon Callahan will officiate. Burial will be at Woodlawn Cemetery, Urbana.

Mrs. Wilcoxon was born April 16, 1924 in Hayes, the daughter of Bernith R. and Hollis (Bushel) Walling. She married Roy Irving Wilcoxon on September 21, 1947 in Tuscola and he survives. She is also survived by a daughter; Sharon Kay Collins of Monticello, two sons; Roy P. Wilcoxon of Mansfield and Richard I. Wilcoxon of Urbana, brother; David L. Walling of Champaign, sister; Sandra K. Dazey of Milford, nine grandchildren and seventeen great grandchildren. She is preceded in death by her parents and two brothers.

Mrs. Wilcoxon attended Dalton Grade School and graduated from Tuscola High School. She was a housekeeper at Carle Foundation Hospital and a member of First Christian Church of Champaign.
