OAKWOOD, IL- Charlotte Jane Mitchaner, 64, of Oakwood, passed away at 9:56 A.M., Tuesday, June 7, 2011 at her residence.

Funeral services will be held 11:00 AM, Friday, June 10, 2011, at the Renner-Wikoff Chapel, 1900 S. Philo Rd., Urbana, IL. Pastor Jim Blue will officiate. Burial will be held at the Fairfield Cemetery, rural Newman, IL. Visitation will be held from 6-8 PM, Thursday evening, June 9, at the funeral home.

Mrs. Mitchaner was born January 24, 1947, in Champaign, IL, a daughter of Ira Gudgel Sr. and Virgie (Brownfield) Gudgel. She married Aaron Ross Mitchaner on March 21, 1980 in Champaign. He survives. Also surviving are four children, Charles L. Ferrell (Margaret) of Rantoul, IL, Madonna A. Natt (Marcus) of Danville, IL, Tim Mitchaner (Christie) of Urbana, and Kevin Mitchaner (Chris) of Mahomet, IL. 11 Grandchildren, 2 Great Grandchildren survive. Also surviving is a sister, Margie Stanton (Chuck) of Champaign, and two brothers, Don Gudgel Sr. (Margaret) of Champaign, and Ira Gudgel Jr. (Carol) of Paxton.

She was preceded in death by her parents.

Mrs. Mitchaner worked as a bookkeeper for Bebee Trucking for two years and was a member of the Olivette Nazarene Church, Georgetown. She loved NASCAR, traveling, family and friends.
