Mr. Warren was the son of the late Irvin and Iva Ragan Warren of Urbana and formerly of Potomac, Illinois. He was married to the late Deloris Brown on June 15, 1962.

Mr. Warren attended Urbana elementary and High School and the University of Illinois. He retired from the University after thirty years service in the Physical Department, as it was formerly known. Following retirement he took an active interest in landscaping and horticulture and has been very active at Clark Lindsey in its resident garden and horticultural activities.

Following World War II, the Warren family moved to a family farm at Potomac, Illinois where Chuck and his father operated a small electrical construction business. This was at a time when electrical service was not available and they did extensive electrical installations on many rural farms in the Potomac and Armstrong areas.

Mr. Warren is survived by a sister, Martha W. Wilson of Akron, Ohio and a brother, Ivan Jay of Columbia, South Carolina. He was also preceded in death by a brother, Clark and two sisters, Lois and Mildred. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the Calvary Baptist Church, 2106 East Windsor Road, Urbana.

Chuck is well known for his personal care and assistance to many residents at Clarke Lindsey Village, and he was a loyal and 75 year fan of the "Fighting Illini."
