CHAMPAIGN, IL- Charles Nelson Scott, Jr., 75, of Champaign, died at 10:40AM, Sunday, April 15, 2007 at Helia Healthcare of Urbana.

Funeral Services will be held 10:00 A.M., Wednesday, April 18 at Renner-Wikoff Chapel, 1900 S. Philo Rd., Urbana, IL. Pastor Chris Jarrett will officiate. Burial will be held at Grandview Memorial Gardens, Champaign. Visitation will be held from 6-8PM, Tuesday, April 17, at the funeral home.

Mr. Scott was born November 22, 1931 at Urbana, a son of Charles Nelson Scott, Sr. and Francis Sadler Scott. He married Norma Lee Bell on May 28, 1949 at Champaign, IL. She survives. Also surviving are 2 Sons: Douglas Scott of Mahomet, and Philip Scott of Belle, MO. 1 Daughter: Lynette Foran of White Heath, IL. 6 Grandchildren and 3 Great Grandchildren. 2 Sisters: Erma Spencer of Sun City, Fla., and Elsie Curtiss of Urbana.

He was preceded in death by his parents, 1 brother and 1 sister.

Mr. Scott attended Urbana schools and was a line foreman for Illinois Power Company for 45 years. He was a member of I.B.E.W. Local 51.
