Charles L. Norman, 63, died at 12:20 p.m. Friday, May 8, 2015 at his home in Savoy. Funeral services will be at 1:00 p.m. Wednesday, May 13 with visitation from noon until service time at the funeral home. Pastor David Norman will officiate.

Chuck was born November 16, 1951 in Champaign, the son of Roy Alton and R. Marguerite (Powers) Norman. His is survived by his children, Shannon Lee Norman (Jason) and Bryan Charles Norman (Kristi), both of Broken Arrow, OK, his mother, Marguerite of Savoy, a sister, Connie Roy (Rick) of Mahomet, a brother, David Norman (Cathy) of Paris, VA and 4 grandchildren. He is preceded in death by his father, Roy.

Chuck served in the US Airforce during Vietnam as an electrical engineer. He later worked for Cessna Aircraft Company and Rockwell International. He was a member of the First Baptist Church of Champaign in Savoy. He enjoyed airplanes and collected scale replicas. He was also a Cubs, Illini and Cowboy fan.
