URBANA, IL- Charles David "Charlie" Faulkner III, 63, of Urbana, IL, died at 7:45 PM, Friday, July 4, 2008 at Carle Foundation Hospital, Urbana.

Funeral Services will be held 9:00 A.M., Monday, July 7, 2008 at Grace Lutheran Church, 313 S. Prospect Ave., Champaign, IL. Pastor Roger Digges will officiate. Visitation will be held from 4-7P.M., Sunday at Renner-Wikoff Chapel, 1900 S. Philo Rd., Urbana, IL. There will also be funeral services in Pinckneyville, IL with burial at Valhalla Cemetery, Belleville, IL.

Mr. Faulkner was born October 20, 1944 at East St. Louis, IL, a son of Charles David II and Edna Mae Faulkner. He married Mary Frances Martin in 1991 at Pinckneyville, IL. She survives. Also surviving are 2 sons, Charles David IV(Christina) Faulkner of Silver Spring, MD, and Eric Edwin(Mary) Faulkner of Falls Church City, VA. 1 daughter, Hollie Nicole Faulkner of Metamora, IL. 4 Step-children: Denny Giacomo, Pamela Jones, William Giacomo and Kenneth Giacomo, all of Pinckneyville, IL. 5 Grandchildren 2 Great Grandchildren, a sister, Carol (Don) Raycraft of Bloomington, IL, and 2 nephews, Craig and Mike Raycraft.

He was preceded in death by his parents, a grandchild and a nephew.

Mr. Faulkner graduated from the St. Louis College of Pharmacy and worked as a pharmacist for 40 years, having recently worked for the Carle Pharmacy in Urbana. He was a member of Grace Lutheran Church, Champaign, and enjoyed leather crafts and playing the piano and cooking.
