Catherine "Kitty" Apodaca, 64, of Champaign , died 5:45 p.m., Saturday, December 31, 2011 at Carle Foundation Hospital , Urbana.

A Celebration Of Life Ceremony will be held on January 8, 2012 from 1:00 p.m. - 5:00 p.m. at Eastland Suites Urbana Illinois 1907 N Cunningham Avenue, Urbana IL 61802. Renner-Wikoff Chapel 1900 S. Philo Rd., Urbana is handling the arrangements.

Kitty Apodaca was born March 8, 1947 in Birmingham , AL the daughter of Braxton Jesse and Louise Teaver-Black. She married Paul Apodaca on October 8, 1992 in Valparaiso , FL.

She is survived by her Husband Paul. Her three children, Melissa (Scott) McKee of St Joseph, Ellis Espy, and Joseph Espy. Her grandshildren are Alexis Smithenry, Kierra Espy, Camryn & Ethan McKee.

Kitty graduated Summa Cum Laude at Parkland and Eastern Illinois University. She was a member of Bible Baptist Church in Champaign. Kitty was full of life and faith. May she be remebered as a wonderful woman who would light up a room just with her presence. She was truely an inspiration to many.
