Caryl Ann (Stephens) Walsh, age 71, of Camargo died 6:55 a.m. Monday, September 22 at Carle Foundation Hospital in Urbana.

Funeral services will 12:00 noon, Monday, September 29 at Renner-Wikoff Chapel, 1900 S. Philo Rd., Urbana. Rev. Nic Showalter will officiate. Visitation will be from 9:00 a.m. to service time at the funeral home on Monday. Burial will be at Woodlawn Cemetery following the services.

Ms. Walsh was born September 26, 1936 at Crawfordsville, Indiana, the daughter of George and Charlene (Jeffrey) Stephens. She is survived by daughters, Peggy Bean of Camargo, Mariann Bean of Newman; son, Vernon Bean III of Tolono; sister, Patricia Elder of Charleston; brothers, George Robert Stephens of Paris, Walter Retzolk, Jr. of Round Rock, Texas; grandchildren, Nicholas L. Eastin of Urbana, Suzanne (Barry) Brock of Tolono, Sabrina Bean of Tuscola, Stevie (Steph) Bean of Villa Grove; great grandchildren, Andrew Borbely of Tolono, Jordan Borbely of Tolono, Kaymee Eastin of Mahomet, Grace Brock of Tolono.

Ms. Walsh attended Webber Street School and Urbana High School, Class of 1955. She was a member of Webber Street Church of Christ in Urbana and was a People Greeter at WalMart, Savoy. She was an avid bowler in the 60's and 70's and loved flowers and birds. Memorial contributions may be made to the Villa Grove United Methodist Church.
