Carolyn Eveland, 68, of Urbana, Illinois passed away at 11:19 p.m., Sunday, February 16, 2014 at Carle Foundation Hospital in Urbana. A visitation will be held from 5:00 to 7:00 p.m., Thursday, February 20th at Renner-Wikoff Chapel and Crematory, 1900 S. Philo Rd., Urbana. A funeral will be held at 10:00 a.m., Friday, February 21st at Renner-Wikoff Chapel and Crematory. Ministers Dennis Anglin, Mike Wilder, and Rex Richardson will officiate. Burial will follow at Grandview Memorial Gardens in Champaign.

Mrs. Eveland was born April 24, 1945 in Russell Springs, Kentucky to parents William Arlin and Elga (Wilson) Roy. She married Pete Eveland June 8, 1985 at Lake of the Woods in Mahomet, Illinois. Her husband and parents survive.

Also surviving are sons, Jeffery and Gregory Johnston, of Tucson, Arizona, brother, Danny Roy, of St. Joseph, and sister-in-law, Barb Roy, of St. Joseph. Carolyn was preceded in death by one brother, Rodney Roy.

Mrs. Eveland graduated from Gibson City High School, then worked for many years as an accountant for J.M. Jones/SuperValue and H & R Block. When Carolyn's sons were young, she was a Cub Scout leader for their troop.
