Carole Jester 70 of Champaign died at 11:20 p.m. Wednesday, October 28, 2009 at the home of her sister.

Private graveside services will be held. Renner-Wikoff Chapel and Crematory is in charge of arrangements.

Carole was born on January 16, 1939 in Litchfield, the daughter of Harold S. and Ruth Heldt Jester.

Survivors include her sister; Mary Ellen (Gene) Fincham of Champaign and one niece; Tracy Thurman of Champaign.

She was preceded in death by one sister.

Carole was a graduate of Champaign High School in 1957, Millikin University and the University of Illinois.

She taught in the Unit 4 school district and was a member of First Presbyterian Church, Champaign.

Memorial contributions may be made to Champaign County Humane Society or Provena Hospice Nurse Education Fund.
