Carol Stout, 76, of Urbana passed away at 3:43 p.m., Monday, August 25, 2014 at Presence Covenant Medical Center. A reception will be held Thursday, August 28, 2014 from 4:00 to 6:00 p.m., at Renner-Wikoff Chapel and Crematory, 1900 S. Philo Rd., Urbana. A memorial service at the funeral home will be held immediately following the reception at 6:00 p.m., with Pastor Duane Piercy officiating.

Mrs. Stout was born April 3, 1938 in Philo, Illinois to parents Harold and Fern (Klockenbrink) Hinners. They preceded her in death. Carol married Raymond Stout, Sr. November 11, 1959 in Philo. He preceded her in death May 27, 2005.

Survivors include children: Brenda Jamieson and Brad Stout, of Urbana, sister, Doris Piercy, of Urbana, grandchildren, Matt Stout, of Peoria, Shelby Stout, of Champaign, Paige Jamieson, of Urbana, Leigh Jamieson, of Urbana, and David Jamieson, of Mahomet. One son, Robert Stout, preceded Carol in death.

Mrs. Stout worked for more than 30 years at Blain's Farm and Fleet as a book keeper.

Carol enjoyed camping, riding with her husband on his motorcycle, and old western movies, especially those starring John Wayne.
