URBANA, IL- Carl Robert "Bob" Miller, 86, of Urbana, passed away at 8:15 A.M., July 8, 2014 at his residence. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 P.M., Monday, July 14, 2014 at the Renner-Wikoff Chapel, 1900 S. Philo Rd., Urbana, IL. Burial will be held at Grandview Memorial Gardens, Champaign. There will be a visitation one hour prior to the funeral at the funeral home.

Bob was born on April 24, 1928 in Champaign, a son of Frank and Ura B. Gilkey Miller. Survivors include three daughters, Candy Miller of Champaign, Dawn D. McDaniel of Villa Grove and Carla C. Balbach of Franklin, IN. Three grandchildren and 2 great-grandchildren also survive.

He was preceded in death by his parents and 6 sisters.

Bob graduated from the Jacksonville School for the Deaf, and was a machine operator for Meadow Gold Dairy for 40 years. He loved his family, especially his nieces and nephews, and his dogs Scooby and Mandy, very much. Bob also enjoyed camping.
