Carl A. Andres 58 of Urbana died at 2:15 a.m. Tuesday, May 7, 2013 at Heartland Healthcare Center, Champaign.

Funeral services will be held at 12:00 p.m. Saturday, May 11, 2013 at Renner-Wikoff Chapel and Crematory, Urbana. Visitation will be held from 11:00 a.m. - 12:00 p.m. Saturday at the funeral home. Military rites will be accorded.

Mr. Andres was born on October 19, 1954 in Champaign, the son of Frank and Carolyn Ruschmann Andres. He married Beverly Zook on November 16, 1973 in Urbana, she survives.

Also surviving are his mother of Urbana, step-mother; Jeanine Andres of Tuscola, two sons; Chad Andres of Fairmount, Jason Andres of Catlin, one brother; Marvin Andres of Urbana, five sisters; Pam Harper of Atwood, Kelly Bialke and Sheila Bratten both of Tuscola, Cindy Ruschmann and Kathy Loden both of Urbana, six grandchildren and one great grandchild.

He was preceded in death by his father, grandparents and one nephew.

Mr. Andres was a U.S. Army veteran of the Vietnam Conflict.

He was a self-employed mechanic and truck driver.

Mr. Andres loved his grandchildren.
