Britt Asquith, 55, of Urbana, passed away at 1:28 P.M. on Monday, March 3, 2014 at Carle Foundation Hospital, Urbana.

A reception will be held on Saturday, March 8, 2014 from 1:00 P.M.- 4:00 P.M. at Renner-Wikoff Chapel & Crematory, Urbana.

Britt was born in Danville on June 1, 1958 to parents Dixon and Barbara (Mosier) Asquith. Dixon later married Britt's step-mother, Hallie Asquith. They preceded him in death.

In 1982 he married Tina (Resh) Withers and they had two sons, Quinn Asquith of Urbana and Aaron Asquith of Tucson, Arizona, they survive him. Britt later married Karen (Hammer) Asquith on March 30, 2007, in Urbana, she survives him. He is also survived by three step-children, Benjamin Pointer of Columbus, Ohio, Melissa Pointer of Champaign, John Christopher Pointer of Urbana, one sister, Judi Tuggle of Hudson Florida, and a grandson, Jayden Banda.

Britt was a graduate of Danville High School and of Illinois State University, Normal. He had been employed by Carle Foundation Hospital as a Systems Integrator since October 1996.

He enjoyed sports, travel, reading, music, but above all else spending time with his family. He will be remembered for his wit, humor, and always offering a kind ear to friends, family and colleagues.
