Bridget Mary Johnson Miller, age 57, of Urbana died at 5:58 p.m. Thursday, September 9, 2010 at home with her family.

Graveside services will be at 1 p.m. Tuesday, September 14, at Momence Cemetery, Momence, IL, Minister Lynn Peters officiating. Visitation will be from 5 to 8 p.m. Monday, September 13 at Renner-Wikoff Chapel, 1900 S. Philo Rd., Urbana, IL.

Bridget was born October 11, 1952, in Chicago, IL, a daughter of Earl Herbert and Mary Garrett Johnson. She married Douglas H. Miller on September 27, 1975 in Urbana. He survives. Also surviving are two sons, Benjamin (Anni) Miller of Cambridge, MA, and Charles Miller of Chicago; a daughter, Danielle Miller of Los Angeles, CA; two sisters, Jane Johnson of Grant Park, IL and Susan Boecher of La Farge, WI; two nephews and a niece. She was preceded in death by her parents.

Bridget was a homemaker. She was a graduate of Thornton Fractional North High School in Calumet City, IL, the University of Illinois and Eastern Illinois University. She was previously employed as a laboratory analyst at Meadow Gold Milk Company in Champaign, and later as a part-time Home Economics teacher and teacher aide at Urbana High School. She enjoyed crossword puzzles, reading, cooking, traveling and outdoor activities, and spending time with family and friends.

She was a member of Windsor Road Christian Church and Alliance Chapter NSDAR. Memorials may be made to the Mills Breast Cancer Institute or an organization of the donor's choice.
