CHAMPAIGN, IL- Brenda Sue Dyar, 47, of Champaign, IL, died at 8:05 A.M., Wednesday, December 27, 2006, at her residence.
Funeral Services will be held 10:00 A.M.,Saturday, December 30, 2006 at Renner-Wikoff Chapel and Crematory, 1900 S. Philo Rd., Urbana, IL. J.P. Jones will officiate. Burial will be held at Fairfield Cemetery, Newman, IL. Visitation will be held from 4-8PM, Friday evening at the funeral home.
Mrs. Dyar was born April 14, 1959 a daughter of Arlyle and Erma Dell "Cookie" Moyer Irwin. She married Randy Lee Dyar on September 23, 2000 at Champaign, IL. He survives. Also surviving are her step-mother: Audrey Irwin of Savoy, a step-son: Justin Dyar of Champaign, a brother: Dan Irwin of Champaign, a sister: Judy Taylor of Indianapolis, IN, 2 step-brothers: Daryl Harsha of North Bend, Oregon and Robert John Irwin of Wichita Falls, Texas, a step-sister: Becky Harsha of Vicksburg, Miss., and a foster brother: Floyd Welsh of St. Louis, MO.
Brenda graduated from Centennial High School, Champaign in 1977. She attended Parkland College and later graduated from Illinois State University with a B.S. She worked as a Juvenile Probation Officer for the Champaign County Sheriff's Office for 7 years. She was a member of First Christian Church, Champaign and she loved bowling. She was inducted into the Champaign County Bowling Hall of Fame in 1998.
