URBANA, IL- Bonnie M. Lammers, 72, of Urbana, died at 8:44 A.M., Wednesday, February 25, 2009 at Carle Foundation Hospital, Urbana.

Memorial Services will be held at a later date. Renner-Wikoff Chapel, 1900 S. Philo Rd., Urbana, is in charge of arrangements.

Mrs. Lammers was born November 5, 1936 at Ft. Dodge, Iowa, a daughter of Damian and Mary (Fitzgerald) Mitchell. She married David J. Lammers on April 24, 1965 at Pocahontas, Iowa. He survives. Also surviving is a daughter, Lisa K. Lammers of San Antonio, Texas, and three grandchildren, Cody Lammers, Geddy Grove and Paige Lammers; one brother, John A. Mitchell of Jupiter, Florida and a sister, Sister Sally Mitchell O.S.F. of Dubuque, Iowa.

She was preceded in death by her parents and an older sister, Patricia Mary Mitchell.

Mrs. Lammers was a homemaker and member of St. Patrick's Catholic Church, Urbana. She was an avid sports fan and especially enjoyed the Illini, the New York Yankees and she loved Chief Illiniwek.
