Bonita G. Dufour 67 of Urbana died at 11:38 a.m. Tuesday, August 11, 2015 at home.

Funeral services will be held at 3:00 p.m. Friday, August 14, 2015 at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints, Champaign, David Hardesty will officiate. Burial will be in West Lebanon Cemetery, West Lebanon, Indiana at 11:00 a.m. Saturday, August 15, 2015. Visitation will be held from 2:00 p.m. - 3:00 p.m. Friday at the church. Renner-Wikoff Chapel and Crematory is in charge of arrangements.

Bonita was born on December 8, 1947 in State Line, Indiana, the daughter of Lee and Nellie F. Scharbrough Goans.

Survivors include two daughters; Teresa (Ed D'Amato) Johnson of Urbana, Leanna (Phillip Thacker) Dufour of Warren, Michigan, one son; Louis (Laura) Dufour III of Las Vegas, Nevada, one step-son; Scott Dufour of Kentucky, two brothers; Richard Goans of Duquoin, Raymond Goans of Danville, fifteen grandchildren and seven great grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Louis Dufour Jr.

Bonita retired as a lab tech for the city of Detroit, Michigan.

She was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints, Champaign where she taught Sunday school. She loved to read, computers and animals.
