Bobby (Bob) Clifton Pinkston 66 of St. Joseph died at 9:45 a.m. Thursday, February 2, 2012 peacefully at home surrounded by family.

Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. Thursday, February 9, 2012 at the Renner-Wikoff Chapel and Crematory, Urbana; Chaplain Cheryl Peterson-Karlan officiating. Burial will be in the Mt. Olive Cemetery, Mayview. Visitation will be held from 5:30 p.m. - 8:00 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home and one hour prior to the service on Thursday.

Mr. Pinkston was born on December 5, 1945 in Lebanon, KY, the son of William Leslie and Della Mae Hardin Pinkston. He married Diana Paige Falk on February 8, 1969 in Mahomet; she survives.

Also surviving are one son; Troy (Virginia) Pinkston of St. Joseph, two brothers; Walter Hopper Pinkston of Louisville, KY and Marion Pinkston of Springfield, KY, one sister; Loraine Hill of Springfield, Kentucky, and two grandchildren; Cory Pinkston and Alexis Pinkston.

He was preceded in death by one brother; William Russell Pinkston, and two sisters; Pauline Grigsby and Ida B. Curtsinger.

Mr. Pinkston was a U.S. Air Force veteran of the Vietnam conflict.

He retired from the U.S. Postal Service.

Mr. Pinkston enjoyed fishing, animals, cooking, the stock market and especially his grandkids.
