URBANA, IL- Blondine Pauline Weigel, 98, of Urbana, died at 1:42 P.M., Tuesday, November 28, 2006 at her residence.

Funeral Services will be held 11:00 A.M., Saturday, December 2, 2006 at St. Matthew Lutheran Church, 2200 S. Philo Rd., Urbana. Rev. Robert Rasmus will officiate. Burial will be held at Roselawn Cemetery, Champaign. Visitation will be held from 7 to 9 PM., Friday evening at Renner-Wikoff Chapel & Crematory, 1900 S. Philo Rd., Urbana, IL

Mrs. Weigel was born March 3, 1908 at Piramens, Germany, a daughter of Heinrich and Barbara Braun Berg. She emigrated to the United States in 1928 and married John Weigel on August 25, 1934 at New York. He preceded her in death on February 8, 2004.

Survivors include 3 Sons: Howard Weigel of West Yamouth, Mass., John A. Weigel of Massapequa Park, NY and Ronald Weigel of Urbana, Illinois. 6 Grandchildren and 13 Great Grandchildren also survive.

She was preceded in death by her husband, 3 sisters and a brother.

Mrs. Weigel was a homemaker and member of St. Matthew Lutheran Church. She was active in the Order of the Eastern Star and enjoyed baking, sewing, singing and dancing.
