Beverly Ann Emberton, 85, of Tolono passed away at 9:20 a.m. on Tuesday, August 29, 2017 at home, surrounded by her family.

A visitation will be held from 1:00- 2:00 p.m. on Saturday, September, 2, 2017 at Grandview Memorial Gardens, Mausoleum. Funeral services will begin at 2:00 p.m. in the mausoleum. Pastor Jim Hollis will officiate. Burial will take place after the funeral on the cemetery grounds. Renner-Wikoff Chapel is in charge of arrangements.

Beverly was born in Urbana on February 15, 1932 to parents Herman and Pearl (Bellis) Blacker, they preceded her in death. On May 15, 1968 she married James "Jake" Emberton in Urbana. He passed away on February 16, 2003. Also preceding her in death were her two sons; David Postelwait and Jim Emberton. Three sisters and six brothers also preceded her in death.

She is survived by her children; Sharon Britt (Richard) of Louisville, KY, Cindy Atkins (Donald) of Savoy, Debbie Seidelman of Fisher, Pamela Parrish (Steven) of DeLand and Steve Emberton (Sarah) of Naperville. Fourteen grandchildren, six great grandchildren and three great-great grandchildren also survive her.

Beverly was a member of Grace Baptist Church in Urbana. She enjoyed going to flea markets and auctions, she collected Fenton glass, glass paperweights, antiques and other collectables. Above all, Beverly loved spending time with her family.
