Beverly Jo Dodd, 57 of Homer died at 6:30 p.m. Saturday, January 19, 2008 at Provena Covenant Medical Center, Urbana.

Memorial services will be at 10:00 a.m. on Thursday, January 24, 2008 at Renner-Wikoff Chapel and Crematory, Urbana. The Rev. Brandon Hatfield will officiate. Visitation will be from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. Wednesday, January 23, 2008 at the funeral home.

Mrs. Dodd was born on January 6, 1951 in Arcola, Illinois, the daughter of James and Judith Webb Morris. She married Michael Dodd on February 19, 1993 in Tennessee he survives.

Also surviving are her father of Arcola, two sons; Gregory Allen (Kelli) Whightsil of Spring Valley, Illinois and Kevin Bradley Whightsil of Charleston, Illinois, one stepdaughter; Amanda Dood of Naples, Florida and a stepson Philip Dodd of Urbana, Illinois, three sisters; Lee Ann Waugh of Tuscola, Illinois, Linda Thompson and Pamela Jane Shoemake both of Arcola, Illinois, six grandchildren; Cody, Deidra, Kylie, Faith, Hope and Mary Rose.

She was preceded in death by her mother, one sister; Carole K. Burgess, and one neice; Rhonda Burgess.

Mrs. Dodd worked for Kraft Foods in Champaign.
