Betty Lou Zook, 92, of Thomasboro, IL passed away on Friday, January 28, 2022, at Carle Foundation Hospital in Urbana, IL.

A visitation will be held on Monday, February 7, 2022, from 11am-1pm at the Renner-Wikoff Chapel in Urbana, IL.

Following the visitation there will be a funeral service and procession to Grandview Memorial Gardens.

Betty was born on May 21, 1929, in Lodge, IL to parents Jesse E. and Meta Estelle (Miller) Cafin. She married her husband Glenn Alton Zook on June 13, 1945. Betty was a do it all stay at home mother and a true all around American. She enjoyed camping, cookouts, and most of all she loved spending time with her family. Betty was loved by many and will be missed dearly by her family and close friends.

Betty is survived by her children Charlotte (Bill) Schroeder, John Fredrick (Tina) Zook, Dena Day, Norma Faye (Joe) Wilkey, Gary Alton (Pam) Zook, Beverly Iris (Gary) Andres, Genelle Elaine (Paul) Zook, Lyndon Keith (Laurel) Zook and Kevin Rex (Stephanie) Zook; sisters W. Faye Duncan, Marybell Liber and Billie Rex; 43 grandchildren; several great grandchildren; several great great grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews.

Betty is preceded in death by her parents, husband Glenn Alton Zook; daughter Glenda Darlene Strange; and siblings Lucille, Irene, Vera Mae, Constance "Connie", Eddie, and Melvin.
