Betty Jean Lampman, 74 of Urbana died at 4:10 a.m. Wednesday, April 2, 2008 at Carle Foundation Hospital, Urbana.

There will be no services. Renner-Wikoff Chapel and Crematory is in charge of arrangements.

Mrs. Lampman was born on February 1, 1934 in Bridgeport, Kansas, the daughter of Henry and Frieda Smith Wilson. She married Arthur K. Lampman on July 5, 1953 in Salina, Kansas, he survives.

Also surviving are a daughter; Geri Barbee of Mahomet and Steve Lampman of Glenwood Springs, Colorado, a sister; Marilyn Callahan of Dunnellon, Florida and one grandchild.

She was preceded in death by her parents.

Mrs. Lampman was a graduate of Lake Superior State College in Sault Ste Marie, Michigan. She was a Pediatric Nurse at Lakeland Regional Hospital in Lakeland, Florida.

She enjoyed sewing, walking and working.
