Betty D. Franklin, 88, of Champaign passed away at 8:48 PM on December 1, 2021 at University Rehabilitation in Urbana, Illinois.

She was born on March 5, 1933 in Monticello, Illinois the daughter of Faith and Versie Henderson. She was married to Robert Goode and after Robert passed away, she married Carroll Franklin.

Betty is survived by her daughter- Marla (Mark)Castor of Savoy; stepdaughters- Shirley "Marie" Clark of Paxton, Carol(David) Traxler of Philo; step son- Richard Franklin of Urbana; son in law- Tom Ennen; daughter in law- Patty Goode; 12 grandchildren; 18 Great Great Grandchildren.

She is preceded in death by parents, husbands, daughter- Brenda Ennen and son- Ronald Goode.

Betty graduated from Monticello High School and was employed by Ozier Apartments & Starcrest Cleaners. She enjoyed cheering on the St. Louis Cardinals Baseball team & Illini Basketball.

A Graveside Service will be held at 10:30 AM on Friday, January 14, 2022 at Grandview Memorial Gardens, 4112 W Bloomington Road, Champaign, Illinois 61822. Hank Sanford will be officiating.
