URBANA, IL- Betty Ann Everence, 83, of Urbana, passed away at 1:34 A.M., Monday, September 11, 2017 at Carle Foundation Hospital in Urbana.

Graveside funeral services will be held at 11:00 A.M. on Friday, September 15, 2017 at Eastlawn Cemetery, 707 N. Cunningham Ave., Urbana, IL. Pastor Robert Rasmus will officiate. Renner-Wikoff Chapel & Crematory, 1900 S. Philo Rd., Urbana, IL is assisting the family with arrangements.

Betty was born May 18, 1934 in Urbana, IL, a daughter of Heye and Margaret Heien Goldenstein. She married Robert Everence on November 24, 1961. He preceded her in death on November 6, 1985.

Survivors include a sister, Peggy(Donald) Coslet of Round Rock, Texas, two nephews, Barry and Mitchell(Robi), a great nephew, Dillon, and a great niece, Abigail. Special thanks to Kenny Mathews and his son, Kenny.

Betty worked as an administrative secretary for the University of Illinois for over 40 years and was a member of St.Matthew Lutheran Church, Urbana.
