Bertha "Peggy" Williams, 91, of Urbana passed away at 11:58 P.M., Monday, February 17, 2014 at Champaign County Nursing Home.

Funeral Services will be held at 3:00 P.M. on Saturday, February 22, 2014 at Renner-Wikoff Chapel, Urbana. A one hour visitation will be held prior to the funeral. A private burial will be on a later date.

Peggy was born on August 21, 1922 near Effingham, Illinois to parents Perry and Rachael Humes, they preceded her in death. In September of 1941 Peggy married Clarence Williams, he preceded her in death on May 28, 1986. They had three children, Charlotte (Ron) Mahannah of St. Joseph, Illinois, Charles Williams of Casper, Wyoming and Cheryl Little of Kokomo, Indiana. They survive. Also surviving are six grand children, eleven great grand children and one great great grandchild.

Peggy was the youngest of ten children, she had five brothers and four sisters. They preceded her in death.

Peggy was a lifetime member of Urbana Foursquare Gospel Church in Urbana. She loved children and taught Sunday School for many years. She also loved to travel, visiting historical places was one of her favorite things to do. She loved being outdoors and liked to fish.

Memorial Contributions may be made to St. Jude Children's Hospital in Peggy's name.
