Beatrice Kimball Hughes 88, of Champaign died at t 6:00 a.m. Thursday, October 14, 2010 at Helia Healthcare Center, Champaign.

There will be no public services. Renner-Wikoff Chapel and Crematory is in charge of arrangements.

Mrs. Hughes was born on March 23, 1922 in Barrington, the daughter of Walter Wesley and Beatrice Adelaide Kimball Banks. She married Raymond Hughes on July 3, 1941 in Las Vegas, Nevada, he died in May 2006.

Survivors include one daughter; Carol F. Heymann of Highlands Ranch, Colorado, two sons; Michael R. Hughes of Shepherdsville, Kentucky and Randall E. Hughes of Champaign, five grandchildren and three great grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by two sisters.

Mrs. Hughes graduated from Wauconda High School where she was Valedictorian.
