Barbara J. Moore 81 of Urbana passed away Wednesday, September 11, 2013 at home after a long battle with C.O.P.D./Lung Cancer.

Graveside services will be held at 11:00 a.m. Wednesday, September 18, 2013 at North Fork Cemetery, Decatur. Rev. Steve Hohm will officiate. There will be no public visitation. Renner-Wikoff Chapel and Crematory is in charge of arrangements.

Mrs. Moore was born January 11, 1932 in Decatur, a daughter of Glen and Jewel Bagley. She was married to Max Moore. He survives.

Survivors also include two children, Richard Moore and his three children of Urbana and Cathy Rarick and her husband Jim Rarick and their two children of Moweaqua; a daughter Brittany Moore of Urbana; two brothers Carl Bagley and Larry Bagley; three grandchildren Lori Stockwill of Urbana, Tammy Deckard of Decatur and Tony Knowles of Rantoul; sixteen great grandchildren, one great-great grandson Bryce Moore of Urbana.

She was preceded in death by her parents, daughter Linda Deckard, two brothers and a grandson, Todd Knowles.

She was a waitress for over 50 years at local restaurants such as Country Cupboard in Decatur, Red Wheel, The Elite Diner and Carmon's of Champaign/Urbana. It was in these places she touched many people's hearts with her kindness and warm smile.
