Barbara J. Mack, 94 of Gifford, formerly of Urbana passed away at 1:38 p.m. on Wednesday, May 6, 2026.

She was born in Lane, Illinois the daughter of Furman & Evelyn (Young) Arthur. She married Howard Mack on May 6, 1950, in Champaign, IL. They were married 65 years.

Barbara is survived by three children: Robert Mack, Theresa (Keith) Harris and Sandra (Don) Rector all of Urbana; daughter in law- Tina Mack of White Heath; 12 grandchildren, 25 great grandchildren, and 5 great -great grandchildren; 2 sisters- Mabel Trimble of Maroa, Janet (Bob)Cooper; one brother Marvin (Teresa) Arthur all of Greenfield, Indiana.

She is preceded by her parents, husband Howard, son James Mack, grandson- Robert Mack Jr; 4 sisters & 4 brothers.

Her biggest joy was reading the bible, being a loving wife, wonderful mom, and granny duties. She was a wonderful cook. Homemade noodles and apple pies. Yum!

Funeral service will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Thursday, May 14, 2026, at Renner-Wikoff Chapel, 1900 Philo Rd, Urbana, IL 61802. Rev. Mike Mack will be officiating. Visitation from 11-1:00 p.m. at the funeral home. Burial will be at East Lawn Burial Park, Urbana, IL.
