Barbara R. Linck, 66, of Paxton, formerly of Champaign-Urbana, passed away at 5:19 a.m., Saturday, June 14, 2014 at Carle Foundation Hospital. A visitation will be held Tuesday, June 17, 2014 from 11:00-1:00 p.m. at Renner-Wikoff Chapel and Crematory, 1900 S. Philo Rd., Urbana. A funeral service will be held at the funeral home immediately following the visitation at 1:00 p.m., with pastor Kenny Hall officiating. Burial will take place at Grandview Memorial Gardens at a later date.

Mrs. Linck was born February 25, 1948 in Valparaiso, Indiana to parents Arthur and Leona (Church) Williamson. She married Kenny Linck in Urbana June 18, 1965; he survives.

Also surviving are children, Deanna Link-Small (Matt), of Del Ray, Illinois, Eddie Linck, of Rankin, Illinois, Cindy Linck, of Champaign, Illinois, brother, Donald Shupe (Barbara), of Oakland, Tennessee, grandchildren, Melinda Linck, of Urbana, Illinois, Chelsea Link, of Champaign, Illinois, James Link, of Del Ray, Illinois, Kenny Link, of Del Ray, Illinois, and great grandchildren, Ian and Jaxon. Barb was preceded in death by her parents and one brother.

Mrs. Linck was self-employed for many years, working as a home health caregiver. After she retired, she enjoyed spending time reading, collecting dolls, and appreciating flowers and birds. She and her husband shared their interest and membership in the Sage City Relic Hunters. She also enjoyed traveling with her husband in their RV.
