Obituary

Barbara Ann Jennings, 74, of Urbana, went to be with the Lord at 1:12 P.M. on Friday, May 1, 2015 at Carle Foundation Hospital in Urbana, surrounded by her husband, children and grandchildren.

A Celebration of Life service will be held at 6:00 P.M. on Monday, May 4, 2015 at Vineyard Church, 1500 N. Lincoln Av., Urbana. A visitation will be held at the church from 3:00 P.M. - 6:00 P.M. prior to the service. Burial will be held at 11:00 A.M. on Tuesday, May 5, 2015 at Prairie Rest Cemetery in Delavan, IL.

Barbara was born on May 12, 1940 in Troy, New York, to parents William and Winfred (Barrett) Webster. On July 26, 1958 she married Allen K. Jennings in Latham, New York. They enjoyed 56 wonderful years together. He survives. Also surviving are their children, David (Jennifer) Jennings of Indianapolis, Carolynn (Gil) Jennings-Diekhoff of Morton, Ellen N. Frazier (Larry Paquin) of Warren, MI, Corrie A. (Adam) Jennings-Waters of Urbana, 19 grandchildren, one great grandchild (due in Aug.), her brother Roger Webster of New York, NY, sister -in-law Helen Webster and many nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents, brother Robert Webster, sister Kathy Prividera- Eaton, granddaughter Kirstie Ann Diekhoff and grandson Kirk Allen Diekoff.

Barb loved to host and serve people. She enjoyed baking, cooking, reading and most of all spending time with her children and grandchildren. She was an avid Detroit Tiger's fan. She never had a bad thing to say about anyone. She loved her church family and was a prayer warrior. She is going to be missed by everyone who had the pleasure of knowing her.
