Barbara A. Bauer, 57, of Champaign, died 3:10 p.m., Thursday, January 12, 2012 at Provena Covenant Medical Center, Urbana.

A private graveside service will be held at Woodlawn Cemetery, Urbana. Rev. Michael Smith will officiate. A visitation will be held from 5:00 to 7:00 p.m. Monday, January 16 at Renner-Wikoff Chapel and Crematory 1900 S. Philo Rd Urbana.

Barbara Bauer was born February 15, 1954 in Memphis, TN the daughter of Bobby Gene and Helen Imogene Powell Jones. She married Carl Bauer March 21, 2000 in Champaign County. He survives.

Survivors include her parents; a daughter Raeshawn Talley of Champaign; two grandchildren, Rowan and Sean Talley; and a brother, Gary Jones of Arkansas.

A brother, Rob Jones preceded her in death.

Mrs. Bauer worked for Kraft as a lab analyst for 35 years.
